Content scheduling
Index d'articles
In eZ publish, by default, all articles have a 'publish date' and an 'unpublish date'. These 2 parameters are then used by scheduled tasks that are able to display, hide or deleted content.
For more advanced publishing, the Open Source extension Smile Scheduled can be used. This extension allows you to manage and schedule the content of your eZ publish installation by creating placeholders zones where content can be placed.
These placeholders called "zones" use a template fetch function to show content that is supposed to be published at the very moment. For example, web pages could have certain content during the week and change to different content after 9pm and on weekends. This extension comes with a calendar screen in the administration front-end to manage your scheduled content.
