In eZ publish, all standard editing tasks can be carried out through the normal user interface using the WebsiteToolBar. This toolbar is displayed in any frontend pages for user with access right. The toolbar list all actions allowed by the current user on the displayed page.

Once in the dit mode, the user will be able to use the online editor.

With the Online Editor you can easily format long passages of text for your articles, product descriptions,etc. You can put your text into an XML field and then format the contents by using the Online Editor interface which is very similar to the ones found in many word processors. There is no need to know XML or manipulate tags manually. Simply click the necessary buttons and the Online Editor will automatically convert your instructions into valid eZ publish XML code.
