eZ DMS allow to place files into sections that will determine the kind of validation workflow that will be used.
An eZ DMS File or eZ DMS Folder can be moved from the 'Without validation' to the 'Validation by Groups Leaders'. The selection is found on the left side of the edit screen.
To each section correspond to a specific workflow. 'Validation by Group Leaders' means that if the user is not member of this group, then the content will not be published unless validated by one member of the group.
When the user publish the file, it will be placed in the 'My approvals ' of the members of the group. He/She can add a comment, approve or deny the publication. In the case the content is denied publication, it will be moved back to the 'Drafts ' box of the publisher.
The publisher can follow the process by going to the 'My pending items ' page from the 'My profile '
